Alyssa is an Entrepreneur in Residence at Forgepoint Capital.
Prior to this role, Alyssa was a director in PwC’s financial crime unit where she led large-scale anti-money laundering (“AML”) engagements at global financial institutions, focusing on the remediation of regulatory issues mainly in the Know Your Customer and Transaction Monitoring spaces. Throughout her career, she has also worked with clients to effectively address operational pain points using tech-enabled solutions. As an entrepreneur in residence, Alyssa brings this experience to identify best-in-class technology solutions to solve the largest challenges facing the compliance industry and to help entrepreneurs scale their businesses.
Alyssa received a Master of Arts degree in International Affairs from the George Washington Elliott School of International Affairs and a dual degree in International Affairs and Spanish from the University of Iowa. Outside of the office, Alyssa enjoys hiking with her husband and son and keeping up to date on the latest foreign policy news.
