Drew Cukor, Former Head of AI/ML Transformation and Engagement and Chief Data Officer, JP Morgan Chase & Co.
Drew Cukor brings a distinguished background in cybersecurity and artificial intelligence from both the public and private sectors, bridging military-grade cybersecurity principles with private sector demands and ensuring robust protections in finance and beyond.
At JPMorgan, Drew was responsible for applying AI and machine learning to secure data and optimize digital defense strategies, underscoring AI’s transformative potential in cybersecurity.
In his 25-year career with the U.S. Marine Corps, Drew led Project Maven under the Department of Defense, where he integrated AI to bolster U.S. cybersecurity and intelligence capabilities, significantly advancing the use of algorithms in identifying and mitigating threats in complex data environments.
Drew holds advanced degrees in engineering and military strategy and is a published author on AI and cybersecurity. He continues to advise and speak on the intersection of AI and cybersecurity, advocating for ethical technology use to safeguard both national security and enterprise resilience.
Elena Kvochko, Adjunct Professor, Cornell SC Johnson School of Business
Elena Kvochko is a seasoned cybersecurity industry professional. In 2020, after holding cybersecurity leadership roles at several financial institutions, she was appointed the first Chief Trust Officer for the enterprise software giant SAP which operates in over 200 countries. There, she and her global team work to prevent and ward off cybersecurity threats while building trust with SAP customers, end users, partners and stakeholders.
Prior to SAP, Kvochko was a data security mastermind in the banking industry. She focused on global security as Senior Vice President and Technology Executive at Bank of America and Divisional Chief Information Officer at Barclays Bank in New York and London. Elena is also an inventor of 30+ patent-pending and patented technologies in security, privacy, digital payments technology, and quantum computing. One includes an information card silent coercion alarm that prompts an institution to review fraudulent activity on behalf of a customer.
Elena’s many accolades include being named among the Top 100 CIOs; Leading CIOs – Who Happen to be Female by the CIO Magazine, Business Role Model of the Year by the Women in IT Awards, and Fortune Magazine’s Most Powerful Women – International.
Scott Miller, Director, Cybersecurity Services, Lowe’s Companies, Inc.
Scott Miller is an experienced Cybersecurity Leader and Advocate with a rich professional background spanning the US Intelligence Community, Department of Defense, Federal Government, Manufacturing, and Fortune 50 Retail environments. He has led global information security teams in various domains, including Network Security, Threat and Vulnerability Management, Industrial IoT Security, Big Data Analytics, Custom Application Development, and Public Cloud.
Scott is committed to supporting multiple community organizations, focusing on Veterans, the development of cybersecurity professionals, and increasing the availability of technology education to children. His dedication to these causes underscores his passion for fostering growth and security within the broader community.
Sandip Wadje, Managing Director, Global Head of Emerging Tech Risks, BNP Paribas
With over 23 years of specialized experience in Cyber Security, Operational Risk, IT Risk, Internal Controls, and Compliance, Sandip Wadje currently serves as Managing Director and Global Head of Emerging Technology Risks at BNP Paribas (since September 2017). His focus areas include Cloud, Artificial Intelligence, Digital Assets, Threat Intelligence, and External Engagements. He has a proven track record of assisting and influencing board-level stakeholders at Fortune 500 firms (both financial services and non-financial services) to enhance their Technology and Cyber initiatives.
Known for his ability to communicate complex security and risk issues in accessible language, Sandip builds strong relationships across all organizational levels. In addition to driving transformative change and developing global teams around new technologies, Sandip is recognized for shaping regulatory guidelines at the industry level. He actively shares independent perspectives on Emerging Tech Risks with regulators and industry forums. His background spans consulting, start-ups, and industry roles, giving him a unique edge in managing diverse global portfolios. Sandip has also established multiple Centers of Excellence (CoEs) in offshore locations, demonstrating his leadership in building high-impact, globally distributed teams.
Kathryn Shih, Venture Partner, Forgepoint (moderator)
Kathryn Shih is a Venture Partner at Forgepoint Capital. She helps entrepreneurs develop effective AI strategies and prepares the security industry for changes brought by generative AI.Kathryn brings extensive experience in product management solving the full spectrum of B2B use cases.
Prior to her role at Forgepoint, Kathryn was a Group Product Manager at Google where she most recently led the Security AI Workbench team and trained generative AI for security-specific workloads. She has spent over 15 years scaling global technologies including Google Ads, Android OS, and Amazon Web Services’ EC2 and EMR. She began her career as a software engineer at Akamai Technologies.
Kathryn holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a B.S. in Computer Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
Outside of work, she enjoys outdoor sports like rock climbing, skiing, and mountain biking.
