Damien Henault is a Managing Director at Forgepoint Capital International, leading the firm’s investments in transformative cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, and infrastructure software companies in Europe, Israel, and Latin America.
Damien has nearly 30 years of experience as an international technology investor, M&A advisor, strategy and corporate development executive, and entrepreneur. He has executed over $250 billion in M&A, IPOs, and financing through public and private transactions with startups and Fortune 500 companies around the world.
Prior to Forgepoint, Damien was a Partner at European growth-stage technology fund TempoCap where he focused on cybersecurity and deep tech investments. Prior portfolio companies include BlueVoyant, CybelAngel, Panaseer, Dedrone (acq. by Axon), Onfido (acq. by Entrust), Tessian (acq. by Proofpoint), Senseon, Systancia, EfficientIP, Bleckwen, Ercom (acq. by Thales), Currencycloud (acq. by Visa), Launchmetrics (acq. by Lectra), Training Orchestra and AirHelp.
He was previously a Partner at early-stage venture capital firm Andurance Ventures, a Senior Director of Strategy and Corporate Development at Hewlett-Packard, and a TMT M&A Investment Banker at J.P. Morgan. Earlier in his career, Damien founded an IT Services firm in Paris and an ISP in Montreal.
Damien holds degrees in Philosophy and Economics from Sorbonne University and a MSc in Finance from the Institut d’Etudes Politiques (IEP) in Paris. He currently lives in London. While not in the office, Damien enjoys contemporary art, traveling with his family, skiing, and hiking.
