Don Dixon

Don is a Co-Founder and Managing Director at Forgepoint. He has been a technology investor for over 30 years and was one of the earliest investors in cybersecurity.

Prior to Forgepoint, Don led Trident Capital for over 20 years. Prior to Trident, Don was the Co-President at Partech International, a Managing Director at Alex. Brown & Sons, and a Vice President at Morgan Stanley.

Don is a member of the Advisory Board of the Princeton School of Engineering and Applied Sciences. He is also a Director for Business Executives for National Security (BENS.org), and a member of the Aspen Institute’s Cybersecurity Group, the nation’s leading cross-sector public-private cybersecurity forum that aims to translate pressing cybersecurity conversations into action. Previously, Don was a Board member of the Naval Postgraduate School and a member of the Advisory Board of the Harvard Kennedy School Center for Public Leadership.

Don holds an MBA from Stanford’s Graduate School of Business and a BSE from Princeton University. In the summer, you can find Don rowing his open water scull across Lake Tahoe.
