Jimmy Park is a Senior Associate at Forgepoint Capital, where he focuses on developing investment theses in AI and identity security. He serves as a Board Observer to Converge, Hyperproof, ReversingLabs, Rafay, and Verituity, collaborating closely as they fundraise, go to market, and scale. In addition to deal sourcing, due diligence, and deep dives into emerging sectors, Jimmy leads business development initiatives with key partners across the Asia-Pacific region.
Prior to Forgepoint, Jimmy was an investor at Charlesbank Capital Partners, a New York and Boston-based private equity firm, where he focused on software, cybersecurity, industrials, and business services. Earlier in his career, he worked in investment banking at Bank of America Merrill Lynch. He also served as Sergeant in the Intelligence Command of the Republic of Korea Army.
Jimmy holds an MBA from the MIT Sloan School of Management where he specialized in entrepreneurship and venture capital. He received a BS in Statistics and Finance, summa cum laude, from the Wharton School, along with a a BA in International Studies from the University of Pennsylvania. Outside of work, he enjoys golf and mindfulness meditation, and serves on the alumni board of the MIT Sloan Club of Northern California.
