Andrew McClure is a Managing Director at Forgepoint and invests in early stage and growth stage companies building innovative technologies that protect the digital world.
He serves on the Boards at Constella Intelligence, Converge Insurance, CyberCube Analytics, Surefire Cyber, and WireWheel. He was previously on the Boards at Prevoty (acquired by Imperva), BehavioSec (acquired by RELX/LexisNexis), and Cysiv (acquired by ForeScout). Andrew has led several spinout investments for Forgepoint and has incubated two companies within the firm.
Prior to Forgepoint, Andrew served as an intelligence officer in the U.S. Marine Corps, where he led cross-functional teams in Afghanistan, the Middle East, East Africa, and Australia focused on signals intelligence and cyber operations. He remains active in the Reserves.
A graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy, he also holds advanced degrees from Harvard’s Kennedy School of Government, MIT’s Sloan School of Management, and the Australian National University. He is also a Visiting Fellow at the National Security Institute and a Term Member at the Council on Foreign Relations.
